Resilience & Self Care for Educators

Practical tools to reduce burnout, strengthen emotional regulation, and support teachers and school leaders in high-demand environments.

Built by a former New York City public school teacher with 14 years of classroom experience.

Teaching today requires more than instruction.

Educators are navigating constant pressure — managing classrooms, responding to student needs, supporting families, and carrying emotional weight day after day. Over time, this leads to:

  • Chronic stress and burnout

  • Emotional exhaustion

  • Reduced patience and presence

  • High turnover across schools and networks

Most professional development doesn’t address this.

We do.

Resilience & Self-Care Professional Development

We offer experiential workshops that teach educators how to regulate stress, reset their nervous system, and sustain their energy — in real time, in the classroom, and beyond.

This is not theory.

It’s practical, science-based training that educators can use immediately.

Participants Learn How To:

  • Regulate stress during challenging classroom moments

  • Reset after high-intensity interactions or days

  • Increase focus, patience, and emotional steadiness

  • Build sustainable self-care habits that actually stick

  • Improve overall wellbeing and presence

Our work integrates:

  • Guided breathwork

  • Nervous system regulation tools

  • Meditation and grounding practices

  • Optional cold exposure (fully customizable)

This work is specifically designed for:

  • Charter school networks (KIPP, Uncommon, Achievement First, etc.)

  • Northeastern public schools (NYC, Boston, Connecticut)

  • School leadership teams

  • Teachers, deans, and instructional staff

We understand the reality of the classroom — because we’ve lived it.

Kathy (TFA alum NYC ‘05) spent 14 years teaching in New York City public and charter schools.

This work is built from real experience, not outside theory.
